Yogurt making is not a complicated process. But there’s one ingredient that makes yogurt probiotic or non-probiotic—the bacteria added to the milk probiotics or yogurt cultures. Yogurt making can be as easy as straining off the liquid from probiotic yogurt and adding it to fresh milk to make probiotic yogurt makers.

With a probiotic yogurt maker, you can easily make tasty yogurt from the comfort of your kitchen. All you have to do is add probiotic culture during the process. You can make probiotic yogurt by adding probiotics to milk pasteurized or non-pasteurized. And from there, you just have to have patience for the probiotic yogurt strain to develop. Making probiotics at home is a great way to get probiotic yogurt regularly!

The benefits of probiotic yogurt makers are enormous. Not only does it boost stronger bones, but probiotic yogurt helps prevent yeast infections, reduces the risk of Type 2 diabetes, and boosts your immunity. It also works in soothing digestive systems and reducing the symptoms of lactose intolerance. Furthermore, probiotic yogurt makers are beneficial for your oral health as well! They increase calcium absorption, prevent bad breath, fight cavities, and strengthen teeth.

If you love probiotics, probiotic yogurt is a great way to boost their benefits in your body by eating

Below are Tips on How You Can Make Probiotic Yogurt at Home

Step 1: You’ll Need the Right Ingredients

To make probiotic yogurt, you need probiotics, of course.   But probiotic supplements alone can’t turn milk into probiotic yogurt maker. That’s why you’ll also need active cultures of bacteria, vitamins, and nutrients like calcium and lipase enzyme.  You can find these at your local supermarket.

Step 2: Get the Right Equipment

You’ll need to get a yogurt maker.  This is used to incubate probiotic yogurt while eliminating bad bacteria that can harm your gut health.

Step 3: Heat the Milk

Using an electric mixer, heat milk just enough to make it lukewarm. You should also keep in mind that you shouldn’t use cold milk. Always warm your milk.

Step 4: Incubation

After heating the milk, place it in your yogurt maker or incubator.  You can also use a thermos to add probiotic yogurt mix and active cultures of probiotics to lukewarm milk that’s not heated.  The machine will help convert the milk into probiotic yogurt.

Step 5: Place into jars

If your yogurt maker comes with jars, you can place the milk mixture into these jars.  But if you’re using a thermos, you have to sterilize the jars and lids first.  Use clean dish towels to wipe the insides of the jars and lids. Place them in boiling water for about ten minutes.  After they cool down, discard what’s left in the water, then rinse them with warm water.

Step 6: Wait for the machine to work its magic

Let your probiotic yogurt maker work its magic.  You can check on it after four to eight hours.  After you remove it, you’ll see that the probiotics are doing their job.

Step 7: Pour into glass jars

Pour probiotic yogurt into sterilized glass jars and keep them in the refrigerator to enjoy when you need to.
